Celebrating the Tijuana River Estuary & its Cultures: Where Nature and Nations Meet

Location: Imperial Beach Pier Plaza

Join us on 10/10/10 for this year's subtheme of Birds, Bombs, and Bunkers as we will be commemorating Border Field Naval Air Station’s role during World War II. We will host a variety of entertainers such as a Border Field WWII storyteller and Summer Breeze - a Sweet Adeline group; biodiesel bus tours of the WWII sites in the Reserve; activities and games for families and children, including a boot camp inspired obstacle course; and booths featuring the Cabrillo National Monument, Chula Vista Nature Center, and native Kumeyaay arts and crafts.
